Peggy Stevenson is a street photographer and writer from the Hyde Park neighborhood of Chicago. She has been posting street and urban photographs on her Chicago blog since 2007. Her black and white photography series “Remembering My Father’s Chinatown” was exhibited in conjunction with Chicago’s Chinatown Centennial in 2012. She has also published short fiction and taught Creative Writing in the middle and high school level. She was a 1999 recipient of the Illinois Arts Council Grant for short fiction. Also a collage artist, she was a 2018 Chicago Public Library Featured Artist for her collage series "True Stories: At Play With Memories". She was a photography resident with Atelier 11 in Paris, France and has exhibited her photographs in Memoire del "Avenir Gallery in Paris, France in 2020.
